Simon (qualified in 1985) has a background in criminal defence and prisoners rights law and has for a number of years carried a caseload of claims for compensation and for judicial review against police forces, Local Authorities and Central Government departments. He is described in Chambers 2008 as having “a wealth of experience as head of the police team as well as a criminal practitioner”.
