Our People - Employment

Yunus heads up our Employment Law department and brings more than 15 years experience to Ison Harrison. Yunus also has extensive experience of Personal Injury work and is a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.

Comfortable acting for both employers and employees, Yunus advises regularly on all aspects of Employment Law including dismissals, discrimination, and contractual issues such as restrictive covenants. He has an understanding and empathy with the demands of small businesses and specialises in representing them in all aspects from recruitment and contracts through to termination. He regularly receives referrals nationally on the back of the reputation he has built over the years of providing a professional but friendly service with the client.

As a Solicitor-Advocate, he regularly presents cases on behalf of clients in Tribunals and Courts, offering a genuinely all-inclusive service.

He is a member of the Solicitors Association of Higher Courts Advocates, The Employment Lawyers’ Association and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Away from work Yunus is heavily involved in football administration. He tutors the Equalities and Handling Discrimination Cases for the Football Association, where he is able to put his Employment Law expertise to good use. He is also a member of the FA Race Equality Advisory Board, has been appointed as an Ambassador by the FA and is a Council member of the West Riding County FA.
