Bill heads up the firm’s Magistrates Court Department.
Bill is a solicitor and very experienced advocate who has specialised for many years in criminal defence work in the Magistrates court. Bill worked for 8 years as a journalist and researcher specialising in the mining industry before qualifying as a solicitor in 1984. Bill soon became partner at Howell’s, another leading Criminal Legal Aid Practice but based in South Yorkshire and after leaving spent six years working as a freelance advocate specialising in trial work before joining Harrison Bundey as a Partner in 2003. Bill now provides advocacy back up in the firm’s inquest work, and takes a particular interest in Human Rights Law. His qualities include a dogged determination and he is devoted to ensuring that clients get the best possible representation at Police Stations and in Court.
