Amy Nesbitt is a Partner and Solicitor in the Clinical Negligence Team, having qualified in 2015. She has extensive experience acting for claimants across a wide range of complex clinical negligence claims, including traumatic birth injuries, injuries to the gallbladder due to substandard surgery, pressure sores, spinal and serious orthopaedic injuries, as well as cases involving delays in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Amy understands that clinical negligence claims can be both legally complex and emotionally challenging. She is committed to building strong, trusted relationships with her clients and is known for her supportive approach and delivery of exceptional client care throughout the claims process.
In addition to her casework, Amy plays an active role in the development of junior members of the team. She is heavily involved in training and supervision, recognising the importance of mentoring and supporting those at the early stages of their legal careers.
Outside of work, Amy is a keen fitness enthusiast and has competed in the Great North Run on several occasions. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Luna.
