Our Community Projects & Events
As a business we are completely committed to engaging with the communities in which we operate. For those towns where we have been based for many years the links between the firm, the local business community and residents is clear to see. As well as supporting and sponsoring local events which otherwise might not happen, our staff are encouraged to look for ways in which we can ‘Give Back’ in a direct and targeted way.
In 2018 we celebrated our 40th anniversary and decided to donate 40 gifts to 40 local charities across Yorkshire throughout the year. Each cause was in some way directly related to one of our branches, one of our clients or most likely a member of staff. This was to be known as our #TheBig40 campaign.
The response was wonderful. Our staff were proud of the support that the firm were offering and the links between our offices and the communities which they serve became stronger. When we reached the end of the year there seemed to every reason to continue with initiative and as such we have committed to deliver a rolling community fund where clients and staff can nominate a cause for consideration. We want to keep giving something back. We feel that businesses have a responsibility to do so.
