She has practiced exclusively in family law since graduating from university in 2016.
She deals with all aspects of family law including divorce, separation and any resulting financial issues; children and domestic abuse.
Jessica regularly acts for parents in applications for Child Arrangement Orders specifying where a child will live and who they will have contact with. She can also assist in more urgent situations where emergency orders such as Prohibited Steps Orders are required.
She represents parents and other relatives in public law Care Proceedings where Local Authorities (social services) make an application to Court in relation to concerns they have for a child’s welfare.
Jessica also represents individuals who have suffered from domestic abuse and is able to obtain protective injunctions, often on an emergency basis to protect clients and their children.
Jessica joined Ison Harrison in April 2019. She underwent her training at a firm in Wakefield and also worked at a firm in Newcastle following her graduation from university.
In her spare time, she is a keen netball player and plays for a team in a local league.
