About Kailum James
Kailum is a Legal Assistant supporting solicitors with injury claims and inquest cases. He plays a key role in progressing matters efficiently by managing evidence, drafting legal documents, liaising with clients, and assisting with the day-to-day conduct of cases. His organised and practical approach helps ensure that clients receive clear communication and support throughout the legal process.
Kailum recently graduated from Northumbria University with a 2:1 degree in Law. During his studies, he completed the university’s Student Law Office module under the supervision of a qualified solicitor, gaining hands-on experience in will drafting and probate enquiries. This opportunity provided valuable insight into client care, legal research, and the practical application of legal principles.
Alongside his academic studies, Kailum developed his legal experience through work experience at Watson Woodhouse and by shadowing a King’s Counsel during a criminal trial. These experiences broadened his understanding of legal practice across a range of areas and strengthened his interest in pursuing a career within the legal profession.
Kailum is committed to providing a professional and approachable service, supporting both clients and colleagues while continuing to develop his legal knowledge and experience.
