Roumanah Akudi

Roumanah is a Solicitor in our Immigration department, based in our Leeds Head Office.
Roumanah joined Ison Harrison in 2026 as a Solicitor in the Immigration Department. She specialises in UK immigration law and advises both private and corporate clients on a broad range of immigration matters. With over three years’ post-qualification experience, Roumanah has developed extensive expertise in helping individuals, families and businesses navigate the complexities of the UK immigration system. She regularly assists clients with family-based immigration applications, including spouse, partner, parent, settlement, and British citizenship applications. Roumanah also advises businesses on sponsor licence applications, compliance matters and Skilled Worker visas, providing practical guidance to help organisations meet their immigration obligations. Roumanah has considerable experience managing complex immigration matters and is skilled in preparing detailed legal representations, witness statements, and supporting evidence. Clients appreciate her thorough, approachable, and client-focused manner, as well as her commitment to providing clear and straightforward advice throughout the legal process.
Having completed her LLB (Hons) Law at the University of Huddersfield and her LPC and LLM at the University of Law in Leeds, Roumanah developed a strong interest in the protection of individual rights, and the positive impact immigration law can have on families and communities.
Outside of work, Roumanah enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and experiencing different cultures. She also enjoys cooking and baking and maintains a keen interest in human rights and social justice.
