Some of us at Ison Harrison are sportier than others, but we’re really pleased to see such a good uptake on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge we’ve recently signed up to do.

In just a couple of weeks, 45 of our wonderful volunteers will be donning their hiking boots and heading to the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in support of Leeds Community Foundation. It’s fair to say this is quite a challenge for the Ison team and we’re trying to make preparations in advance of this 12-hour trek. Preparation is certainly key for taking on a challenge of this scale but we’re optimistic that together, we can all help each other make it to the top.

The distance covers 24 miles of rugged terrain and that includes 5,200ft of ascent. No-one
said it was going to be easy but as a law firm, we deal with challenges every day and this one just means we’re getting out and about in the fresh air! We’re still on the hunt for more volunteers to join us on the trek and make this memorable.

Our continued support of Leeds Community Foundation means we’re trying to raise a grand target of £1,000 for their work to help improve the quality and life of people in Leeds. We have set up a Just Giving page and would be grateful for any donation to help us reach our target.

Mike Peel, Ison Harrison Operations Partner, visited the Yorkshire Dales recently and took these spectacular photos – let’s hope we see some sunshine when the rest of us are taking on the challenge!
