Mrs G, who is now in her 50s, suffered sexual abuse as a child carried out by her step father.
She carried the pain of this with her throughout her life and eventually found the courage to report this to police who commenced an investigation.
Although the abuse took place many years before and the Claim was made over 30 years after the physical abuse had ended, Ison Harrison were able to assist Mrs G to claim compensation from the government’s CICA Scheme and she was awarded £172,000.00.
