Sarah is Partner and works within the Personal Injury and Inquests department at our Leeds office.
Sarah joined Ison Harrison in August 2025, bringing nearly 20 years of legal experience and a strong track record in leadership and advocacy. She specialises in representing vulnerable clients in complex cases involving public authorities, often pursuing justice through the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Her work spans Inquests, Personal Injury, and Human Rights Law, with a focus on driving legal reform and supporting families affected by systemic failings. Sarah is currently involved in campaigns for a Public Inquiry into mental health services and has met with the Secretary of State to advocate for change.
As a proud Middlesbrough native, Sarah studied law at Teesside University and continues to mentor aspiring lawyers from the region. She was named Lawyer of the Year and Inspirational Female Business Leader at the Northern Law Awards in 2024, and has featured on The Apprentice and in national legal documentaries.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, supporting charities like INQUEST and If U Care Share, and spending time with her family.
