Sophie is Solicitor Apprentice and works within the Personal Injury and Inquests department at our Middlesbrough office.

Sophie joined the firm in October 2025 and is currently in the final year of her six-year Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship, which she began in September 2020 at the age of 18. She is due to qualify next year.
She works within the Personal Injury and Inquest Department, where she has developed a particular interest and expertise in Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) claims. Her experience includes managing first-stage applications, review requests, and representing clients at both First-tier and Upper-tier Tribunals in the High Court. Sophie also handles inquests, personal injury claims, complaints against public authorities, and human rights matters.
In addition to her legal work, Sophie is an accredited police station representative, qualified to advise and represent clients during police interviews.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and keeping active through regular visits to the gym.
