Today we’re chatting to Katie Henstock, a conveyancing executive based at our Wakefield office.
Hi Katie, can you tell us how long you’ve worked at Ison Harrison and where you worked previously?
I have worked at Ison Harrison for just under a year and I previously worked at Blacks and Beaumont Legal.
What are your connections to Wakefield?
I was born in Wakefield and I still live here, so it’s great that we now have a new branch on my doorstep!
Can you describe your day to day role?
Working in the conveyancing department, my role is varied with lots of calls and communications with clients and agents. I report to clients wth documents to sign too. There’s also quite a bit of follow-up chasing required from third parties!
What is the most interesting part of your job?
I would say that the most interesting part of my role is speaking to different clients; everyone from 1st time buyers to investors.
What does Ison Harrison being 100% employee-owned mean to you?
I really feel like part of a team here and I know that being an employee-owned business means we all get to make a difference to the success of the firm.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
I have an adorable Cockapoo that I enjoy walking and I also love a bit of shopping and catching up on TV shows I have missed!
