On the morning of the 27 December 2019 at around 8am Delia was discovered unresponsive in bed.  An ambulance crew arrived at 08:12hrs and took over active life support. Sadly, Delia was pronounced deceased at 08:36hrs.

Delia, a much-loved mother, daughter, sister and aunt is described by her family as a wonderful woman with a heart-warming and comedic character.

The family have expressed concerns surrounding the management of Delia’s physical health and medication, the quality of observations, the initial emergency response and a power cut which had disabled the call bell system.
