For the second year running, Ison Harrison were thrilled to be able to support The Snappy Trust by providing gifts, donated by both the firm, and individuals of the firm, to their Santa’s Grotto.
We were inundated with donations which included nail varnish sets, make up, soft toys, dolls, paint your own kits and more.
Every year, The Snappy Trust transform a corner of their Centre into Santa’s Grotto, which is then filled to the brim with gifts for children of all ages.
When Santa attends the grotto, accompanied by his trusted elves, each family is invited to have a chat and a song with Santa, before choosing a gift. The families then enjoy a mince pie and a cup of tea before heading home so that the children can enjoy their chosen gifts.
Whilst the younger Snappy members enjoy a visit to Santa’s Grotto, the Senior Snappy members look forward to their annual Christmas dinner and disco in York City Centre. Having tucked into their Christmas turkey, each young adult is then able to choose a donated gift, and sometimes Santa, or the Snappy crocodile comes along to join in the fun.
Our Solicitors, Ami Law, Olivia Williams and Phoebe Ralston attended the Centre to present the donated gifts where Anne, the Service Manager at Snappy, was over the moon with the donations.
