Our regional office in the busy market town of Ilkley has gone from strength to strength since its opening in 2010, and now our efforts in establishing a trusted local resource in the area have been recognised with the branch being nominated for two awards at the Ilkley Business Awards 2019.
The awards are taking place for the fourth consecutive year and the 2019 event will be held on Friday March 15th at the Kings Hall and the Winter Gardens. This year Ison Harrison has been nominated in two categories, with Jess Bourke from our Ilkley office up for the Trainee of the Year award and the branch itself in the running for Established Business of the Year.
Ilkley Business Awards Nominations
Trainee of the Year
Jess Bourke joined Ison Harrison in September 2017 and quickly established herself in our clinical negligence department. Jess moved to our Ilkley branch in May 2018 and has already assisted in some high value medical negligence cases.
Established Business of the Year
Over the last 9 years our Ilkley branch has become a recognised name on The Grove, Ilkley’s main high street. Being nominated for Established Business of the Year makes us immensely proud to be a part of the thriving Ilkley community.
2018 was a big year for Ison Harrison in Ilkley, supporting local organisations such as Ilkley Business Forum, the Rotary Club and Ilkley Good Neighbours. Our prominent presence in the town was also boosted by our launch of a free legal clinic every Thursday between 12.30 and 2.30pm (which now takes place at the Clarke Foley centre).
The Ilkley Business Awards 2019
The Ilkley Business Awards black tie event is a major feature of the town’s social calendar, and the evening will include a Bucks Fizz reception, a four-course gala dinner and live entertainment. The ticket price is £42.50 with tickets still available. We are looking forward to attending the event.
As a firm, we are particularly pleased to have been nominated given that the reach of the awards covers the whole LS29 area, and hence includes Menston, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Addingham and Ben Rhydding.
The nominations are in recognition of the standards of excellence implemented across the board at Ison Harrison and our 13 branches.
