The Yorkshire Legal Awards have become one of the most prestigious industry events in the legal sector in recent years, and for the second successive year, Ison Harrison have been shortlisted for a major award.

We are proud to announce that we have been named as a finalist for ‘Law Firm of the Year: Medium’, after we were shortlisted for the same award this time last year. Although we fell short of winning the award in 2021, just being recognised as a finalist is a major achievement and reward for the hard work put in by all our team.

We are getting excited at Ison Harrison HQ because the awards ceremony is coming up quickly. The glittering industry event is scheduled for 6th October 2022 and will be held at the New Dock Hall in Leeds city centre. The ceremony is a black-tie event with a three-course meal and live music, and with a raft of awards to share out between a thriving legal sector across the Yorkshire region.

Maintaining and improving our standards

And while this is an exciting event for the company to look forward to, and a number of the Ison Harrison team will be attending in the hope that we can carry off the big prize, we’re not just mentioning this as a self-congratulatory announcement. The award shortlisting is an acknowledgement of the standards and application we put into the service offered to our client base, and win or lose, it makes us determined to not only maintain those standards but improve them year-on-year.

This is also an important time to be nominated since we announced this year that we are now a 100% employee owned business. This means every individual team member at Ison Harrison is able to share in the excitement of being shortlisted.

We would like to wish all our fellow nominees the best of luck for the awards night and we will be updating our social media feeds with the announcement if we win!
