The Mission Christmas Cash for Kids is a charity appeal which works with local radio stations to help support children in communities throughout the UK.
The appeal, which successfully raised £15.7m in 2014, operates in 21 areas and each region works with local businesses that act as ‘drop off points’. These drop off points are designed to be go-to places where you can donate new and unwrapped gifts for children aged between 0-18 years.
Ison Harrison are proud to announce all our 10 branches across Leeds are playing a pivotal part in #MissionChristmas as a drop-off point. With our offices based in very central locations, this makes it even easier to make a donation to a child this festive season.
Statistics show that 1 in 3 chi
ldren in the UK are living in poverty. Cash for Kids aims to help children and young people who are suffering from abuse or neglect, those who have disabilities and those that just need some support from a caring community. With a range of fundraising events taking place each year to raise awareness and donations, we think this is a very important and special charity appeal to be a part of.
