Ison Harrison has advised on the successful acquisition of a significant portfolio of children’s care homes, marking another milestone in the firm’s ongoing work within the healthcare and social care sector.
At the end of March 2026, Resilience Care Homes Ltd completed the purchase of SBL CareServices (UK) Ltd, bringing 19 children’s residential care homes across Lancashire and the wider North West into its growing portfolio. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SBL CareServices is recognised for delivering high-quality specialist care and holds an “Outstanding” rating from Ofsted. The business was previously owned by Anthony Wilding, David Halliday and Ashleigh Heaton.
This latest acquisition represents a key step in Resilience Care Homes’ continued expansion strategy. Having already added three homes during 2025, the group now operates more than 26 locations across the North of England, strengthening its ability to deliver essential care services to young people.
