Keeping our staff informed on how the firm is performing and sharing future plans is essential – even more so now that we are an employee-owned business.

The annual business briefing takes place every January to do just this, and we even manage to have some fun along the way!

Each year we use the business briefing as an opportunity to share with everyone what we managed to achieve in the previous year as well as to introduce some of our plans for the year to follow.

It’s also an opportunity to award individuals and teams including:

Team of the Year

Consideration is given to the circumstances under which the team has performed, the financial performance of the team, the ‘team ethic’ displayed by those within the team, and their overall contribution to the firm.

Branch of the Year

Which branch best exemplifies the culture of the firm? Which one delivered the best financial performance in the circumstances?

Lawyer of the year

Who deserves the recognition? Consideration is given to technical ability and performance, financial contribution, work ethic, composure under pressure, and overall contribution to the culture of the firm.

Ison Harrison Award

The Ison Harrison award is awarded to the person within the firm who is felt to best represent the values of the firm and has in some way gone the ‘extra mile’ over the course of the year. Who is supportive, adaptable, reliable, positive and always gives 100%?

Could you be the future winner of a business briefing award…?

Having Some Fun Along The Way

The much-anticipated business briefing quiz is always a competitive affair and also enables staff to have some fun too!
