Miss M was subjected to domestic abuse including violence and coercive controlling behaviour by her partner during her 3-year relationship with him.
She suffered injury to her mental health including PTSD, anxiety flashbacks and nightmares as a result of the relationship.
Miss M eventually found the courage to report her partner to the police and he was convicted of the offences against her.
Ison Harrison were able to assist Miss M to claim compensation from the government’s CICA Scheme and she was awarded £15,000.00.
