On Sunday 19th January, members from Ison Harrison together with Little Hiccups charity members and families, set out on a mission to climb the Yorkshire Three Peaks!

But rather than being outside on a cold January day, this Yorkshire Three Peaks climb took place in the warm surroundings of Clip n Climb in Leeds, an indoor climbing arena that was the perfect setting for our challenge.

The aim was to climb 2153m, the equivalent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks. With quite a few people in our group, we would add all our climbs together to get to the magic 2153m. Each wall was 9m so we had 240 walls to climb in total.

The Result?

We did it! The Ison Harrison team, Little Hiccups charity members and families collectively climbed 248 walls which makes a total of 2232m! We’re delighted to have been able to smash our target and climb even further! Who knew climbing the Yorkshire Three Peaks was so easy?! Well, it certainly wasn’t easy but it was definitely enjoyable! It was thanks to the turnout of Little Hiccups families and our staff that helped us reach this target so we’re delighted with the achievement. Through this fundraising challenge, a fantastic £1,055 was raised for Little Hiccups.

Little Hiccups Marketing & Compliance Co-ordinator, Miriam Watson-Pratt, commented:

“A massive thank you from everyone at Little Hiccups for turning up and fundraising for us today. Little Hiccups is completely self-funding so support like this is so very much appreciated. Hope you all enjoyed it!”

We certainly did enjoy it, and we’d like to thank all the Ison Harrison staff that went along to support the event and take part.

With a #NoLimits approach, Little Hiccups is a Leeds based support group that was set up by parents who have children with additional needs and disabilities. They run regular events throughout the year to help and support families and make a difference to their everyday lives. This Clip n Climb event also coincided with a Little Hiccups organised Family Fun Day so it was a very busy but enjoyable day at the climbing arena!

Ison Harrison solicitors are delighted to have been able to support Little Hiccups and take part in the climbing event and help raise money. Here’s to the next epic charity challenge!
