We are delighted to announce the appointment of two new Partners at the firm. Ian Anderson and Gareth Naylor head up our Regulatory Law and Personal Injury departments respectively.

Ian Anderson

Ian joined Ison Harrison in 2014 to head up the firm’s newly-founded Regulatory Law team. Since his arrival, Ian has successfully grown a fledgling department into a burgeoning practice dealing with serious and complex cases.

He deals with a variety of regulatory issues, ranging from proceedings brought by Trading Standards, the Health and Safety Executive and the Charities Commission, as well as Environment Agency matters.

Ian has a well established reputation for acting for clients involved in criminal proceedings emanating from money laundering and fraud, as well as confiscation proceedings. He has also carved out something of a niche in licensing cases, particularly shotgun licensing and taxi licensing appeals. His expertise in these areas, as well as his first-rate client care, are reflected in the increasing number of instructions he receives from across the country.

2017 was Ian’s most successful year to date, with highlights including success in a complex Conspiracy to Defraud matter, and he has a number of similarly significant cases coming up this year.

Gareth Naylor

Gareth joined the firm back in 2001 (at the tender age of 20) as a trainee legal executive. Over the past decade, he has continued to litigate at the highest level, including the Maritime Court and a recent inquest. His client care is second to none and he has an innate ability to relate to his clients, quickly developing a rapport with them. He is an intelligent, perceptive and efficient lawyer who now deals with injuries of the highest severity.

In January 2017, Gareth was promoted to Head of the Personal Injury team. He took on the responsibility with enthusiasm, energy and the pro-active approach that he is renowned for.

Gareth is known for his efficiency, responsiveness and approachability, which is consistently reflected in the number of satisfied clients who recommend him and the team.

We would like to congratulate Ian and Gareth on their new appointments, and wish them every success in the future.
