The inquest touching the death of Matthew Dale began today at Liverpool Coroners Court before HM Coroner Kate Ainge.

The inquest will consider issues regarding funding, placement, risk assessments and the events which led to Matthew choking on a continence pad and the emergency response.

Matthew and his family are represented by our Head of Inquest Law, Gareth Naylor and Richard Copnall of Counsel, Parklane Plowden Chambers.
