At Ison Harrison we pride ourselves on never standing still and making sure we are always progressing as an organisation. Also, we recognise that people are our biggest asset, and as client care and professional advice are such an important part of our ethos, recruitment is something we take very seriously. We have to make sure we have the right people to carry our message and the best people to keep us ahead of the game as one of the leading solicitors in Yorkshire.

So with this in mind, we are delighted to announce as many as ten new starters over the last few weeks! Across four different departments and branches we have had a busy time introducing fresh faces to the team, all with new ideas and energy.

Business Support Team

Our headquarters in central Leeds welcome a raft of new faces, with our Business Support team accounting for three of them.

Jo Leake joins as an Administrative Assistant. In her spare time Jo enjoys writing, drawing, sewing and general crafting. Jo is joined by Neil Smith, who is also an Administrative Assistant. A true theatre lover, Neil has seen 83 on-stage performances! He also enjoys collecting antiques and supporting Leeds United.

Finally, Elise Germaine joins as a third new Administrative Assistant. After finishing school this year, Elise is currently studying for her apprenticeship with us. Elise also has one of the best ‘strange but true’ facts we have ever seen; she actually has four kidneys! She says that two may only be there for moral support however….

Residential Property Welcome Four

Residential property is one of our busiest and most successful departments, and they have welcomed four new recruits in the last few weeks. Firstly, James Pascoe joins us from a high street firm in Scunthorpe where he qualified as a Solicitor in July. Outside of work, James is a keen footballer and cyclist.

Rebecca Cronshaw also joins us as a Solicitor from Wilsons in Huddersfield. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, travelling, music (especially The Smiths) and is distantly related to Gordon Banks, who was the goalkeeper when England won the World Cup in 1966.

Also joining the residential property department is Josh Simpson, who joins us as a Post Completion Assistant with an abundance of experience in hospitality. A keen adventurer, Josh has seen plenty of the world and lived in France for three years. Finally, Suniya Hoque joins as a Conveyancing Assistant. Suniya has specialist experience in remortgage and enjoys spending her free time with friends.

New Build Department

Our New Build department welcomes a host of new recruits. The first new face is Ruth Giles, who joins as a Conveyancing Assistant. Ruth is another globetrotter amongst our new recruits and travelled for many years when she was younger. She now lives with her daughter in Leeds and houses rescued Guinea Pigs.

Also joining the department are Matthew O’Callaghan and Abbigail Naylor, who head up the Part Exchange team within the department. Both bring a host of experience and understanding of their field, and make perfect additions. Outside of work, Matthew is an avid guitarist and Abbigail enjoys spending quality time with her family. She also has something of an obsession with penguins!

Our New Huddersfield Branch Strengthens Their Team

At our Huddersfield branch, opened earlier this year, we have appointed two new recruits to a team already seeing plenty of success.

First up, Heather Ward joins as a Legal Executive. As an avid history lover, Heather is currently trying to write a book about Victorian life.  We’re looking forward to adding a published author to our ranks and we’ll definitely have a copy when she’s done! Lucy Bates is also joining the Huddersfield branch as a Conveyancing Assistant. Another seasoned traveller, Lucy previously lived in Australia.

We are delighted to welcome new faces and new talents to the Ison Harrison family all the time. Please join us in offering a huge welcome to all our new recruits as we help them settle in and make the Ison Harrison team even stronger.
